This beaded chain necklace doubles as a lanyard for your name badge. At the end of the day, simply unclip your name badge and you are ready for a night out!

In this class, you will learn another basic jewelry technique, the double wrapped loop! This technique is very versatile in jewelry making and is used in bracelets, necklaces and earrings. You will learn how to wire wrap stone and/or crystal beads and use jumprings to join the links and beads together. The chain links are large enough to clip your name badge on.

You will have a variety of stone and crystal beads of various sizes and shapes to choose from (round, oval, rondelle, hearts, squares, etc). Jump rings and links will also vary in shape and size including antique bronze, gold plated, antique copper and silver plated.

Skills needed: ability to handle various pliers, use two pliers in each hand at the same time, and string beads onto 21 gauge wire. Please pack your spectacles.
