Yoked By Our Vision

Our Mission

Yoked Farmhouse Brewery is owned and operated by multiple families that are yoked through the concept that together we are more creative, supportive, and healthy than if we were alone. We are supportive of our community and other local businesses and artists. We pride ourselves on producing traditional beers, seasonal fruits, vegetables, and happily raised livestock. We are ever moving toward being self-sustaining, sourcing local, and promoting organic culture. We have a commitment to excellence in our products and we take pride in our business; striving to make a positive and lasting difference in the world, a little bit at a time. We hope you enjoy your experience and invite you to Get Yoked with us!

Farm Hand

I’m the proud father of two beautiful, kind, and intelligent young women. I grew up in a farmhouse that is adjacent to the property where Yoked Farmhouse now sits. There I helped my parents raise cattle, garden and learned to cook at an early age. I explored many career avenues: real estate, commercial diving, firefighting, and more before settling on brewing. I started my brew career at Rock Bottom Brewery in California before moving home to Washington and accepting a job at Silver City Brewery where I was the VP of Operations. I love the Pacific Northwest and all it has to offer especially excellent beer. Creating a community of families and starting this farmhouse brewery has been a dream of mine for 20 years. With help from my partners this dream has become a reality. I am overjoyed to share this experience with you and am proud to be a farmhand at this beautiful brewery.

Farm Hand

I’m an Army veteran, mother of three, and matriarch to many. I grew up on a small farm in Salem, Oregon where I picked berries, planted with my Dad, and helped raise rabbits and chickens. My spirituality is very important to me. Growing and creating, is everything. At this season of my life I’m finally able to see the fruits of my labor come to fruition. I am so grateful to be in business with my son and appreciative of my partner Seth for providing me with opportunities for personal growth. I’m very passionate about creating a space of community: where guests can feel that they belong, connect with the farm, and other like-minded individuals. I’m inspired by the people who come visit, for a beer, comradery, and quality time with family.

Farm Hand

I’ve been fortunate to have had many different life experience that have lead me to Yoked: wild animal handler, science teacher, naturalist, perfumer apprentice and more! I love working with people and animals and enjoying the beautiful Pacific Northwest. My favorite day on the farm starts with a good cup of coffee and ends with a delicious beer made here. My passion is connecting the community through events and creating memories, Yoked has fueled this dream and allowed me to be incredibly creative. I am so grateful to be surrounded by such a supportive team in such a beautiful environment.
